The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
I was able to be a part of this show after I graduated in 2014! My first professional show! There were 20 actors in the cast and two assistant stage managers because one of them worked the mechanics underneath the stage! The whole stage was able to turn and transform into the Witch's castle or the friendly part of the woods. It was magical. I had the pleasure of playing the Unicorn and in the show just before I was a Chicken. Needless to say, chickens and horses are more similar than you think because it's all about their legs and necks and I got mixed up one or twice in rehearsal.
I learned from this show that focus is incredibly important, especially when the director has 20 people to direct. One can never be too professional and never too early. It was a joy to tell such a hopeful story with some lovely souls. It was a whimsical winter in Narnia.
