May and Joe
This was the premier of May and Joe. This was my first opera house show in Rosebud Theatre’s 2011-12 season and I was shaking like a leaf. I was the only student in the cast of this production and it challenged me to climb to a new level in my acting. May will always be a special character to me because we shared a similar journey. I was going through a time in my life where I wanted nothing to do with love, hope, or faith. God gave me this role because He wanted me to realize how vital those things are to life, but I feel like He knew I would learn better from someone else. May never gave up on Joe but she never once compromised her beliefs. I will never forget this show. It was directed by the talented Morris Ertman.

“de Graaf…is well cast for the part. She has stage presence and…a sweet, innocent look which came through in spades during the show. de Graaf had the audience rooting for May and will undoubtedly be starring at Rosebud or elsewhere for years to come.”
"de Graaf never allows May to become a victim. This is one feisty young woman who will not marry Joe until he believes in the miracle that put their relationship in jeopardy."
"The chemistry between de Graaf and Krogman is something to behold as they effortlessly blended script and song to create something magical."
