The Little Prince
This is first student production I was a part of at Rosebud School of the Arts in 2011. During this process, the students do all of the production work themselves, with help from our instructors. It was a great opportunity because we get to know our instructors and staff from Rosebud Theatre on a more personal level. I loved every minute of this show. It was in this rehearsal and show run that I got to know my inner child again. It also taught me to get the work done, regardless of how busy we are or what the cast and crew dynamics are. But the story is so beautiful and teaches important lessons. First, you are responsible forever for what you tame. Second, be satisfied with what you are given in the moment. Third, curiosity is vital but don’t let it distract you from what’s important. And finally, life is too short to overlook who you love. This show was directed by Paul F. Muir, Education Director at Rosebud School of the Arts.
