"We're On Vacation!"

I had the pleasure of going down to Palm Springs with some lovely souls. A friend that I met in Rosebud asked me if I wanted to join her and I thought, "Why not?" Soon our group of 2 became a group of 5.

As I got off the plane, I thought, "People must be happy here all the time." Not because they don't have any problems but because it's so bright. We were greeted by sunshine, palm trees, and that fresh California air. We rented the most beautiful Air BnB with a Grapefruit and a Lemon tree in the back yard! Our catch phrase soon became "We're on Vacation!"

I made a decision to start saying "yes". I started practicing it last year when I turned 25 and I wanted it to continue into 2018. I have a tendency of saying yes to a lot of different jobs but not so much to adventures. And that doesn't just include trips or buying an adorable dress online. It's mostly about saying yes to people and sharing moments with them. I have memories now that I dreamt of but never thought I'd actually have. This trip was one of those decisions. I'm so grateful to have shared meals, laughter, and coffee with four beautiful women that decided to say yes wth me too.
