My Favourite Sister
My brother always says to me, "But Nun (my nickname), you're my favourite sister!" And while this is full of nice sentiment, I'm his only sister. So when I say Lydia is my favourite sister (and my only sister), I mean it just as much as when Josh says it to me. Maybe a little more.
It's Lydia's birthday today! My favourite sister, life saving, baby-delivering, super human sister. And I could not be more grateful for her. She always fights for what's right, loves to giggle, is a puzzle master, and cares deeply for humanity.
She's almost a year through her residency to be an OB-GYN and she's the best of the bunch. I know you're thinking, "You don't even know if that's true, you're not even there! And you’re biased!” Well, for your information, I'm on Chapter 9 of my Anatomy Text Book so I know about things now. So, she's amazing.
So Lydia, I'm wishing you the happiest birthday. I'm sending so much love and joy to you over the prairies between us! This year is going to be so amazing and full of delivered promises! That's what I'm wishing for you! God is so good and He will continue to bless you as He has and I pray that it's even more. I'm so proud of you in everything that you're doing. You are my inspiration and my best friend. And my favourite sister.
