Consider Yourself At Home
I can't believe it's already been a month since I started this venture! Where did the time go?! Since we're just getting to know each other, I should like to tell you a bit more about me.
1. I love dresses. I think that's pretty clear. There's nothing like a woman putting on a dress that hits her in all the right places. She's unstoppable. Or I could speak for myself: I feel unstoppable. I feel empowered and encouraged at the same time and its hard to believe that a dress can do that. And if I look like a lady then I feel like a lady.
2. I graduated with my FRSA as an actor from Rosebud School of the Arts in 2014. Since then I've been touring a show that I cowrote about June Carter Cash called Wildwood Fire. However, I've been introduced to the therapy world and Occupational Therapy has caught by eye in a big way. The Lord said to me, "If you tell story to help people, why don't you try it one on one?" And my reply to that was, "But I just took 4 years of storytelling, you're asking me to give it up?" "No, I just think you'd be great at this too." I'm hoping to start my education for Occupational Therapy in the next year.
3. I love a good joke and I love when people laugh at them. Something that's been making me laugh lately is a show called "Somebody Feed Phil", it's a Netflix original. He's a human muppet. He's so endearing and charming, you can't help but love him! He tours around the world and goes to the source of the famous dishes like Pad Thai or Tom Yum Soup. He's so transparent and funny and I haven't laughed that much in a long time. I'm not only going to recommend the show, I'm going to tell you to watch it! Go, do it now!
Friends, I hope you have a sunshine-y day and we will talk soon.
Love & Prayers,
Lauren xo
