Exceptional Emmy
You know what's funny? I lived Rosebud for five and half years and never met Emmy. I knew of her, of course, everyone knows about everyone. The delightful town is very tiny. But I finally met her last year and I'll tell you, she's a game changer. It's her birthday today and you know the drill.
Emmy is quiet and sweet but she knows her mind. More importantly, she's not afraid to share it. She's traveled to China, India, and many other places doing the work of The Lord. I love her tenacity and courage. And she has a great laugh. She's actually who I practice my jokes on because she knows what works and I can trust her.
Emmy, I'm not sure you know what our friendship means to me and it's tough to put into words. But, if I could be so bold, you're one of my dearest friends and I can't remember not knowing you. And sometimes I think, "Why on earth didn't we meet sooner?" It's because The Lord's timing is perfect and I'm grateful for you. I wish you the happiest birthday. May The Lord keep His promises and shower you with love and surprises today. It's going to a fruitful year for you, I just know it!
