You Guys! It's My Birthday!
My 26th year didn't start out the best way but it was going to be the biggest year yet. I knew because The Lord told me very clearly. I had to make some hard decisions that I never thought I would face. But The Lord is faithful and He never left me. And that's how it will always be and that just warms my heart.
I was able to tour Wildwood Fire to Saskatchewan performing in Regina and Estevan for 7 shows. I was able to work at the most beautiful bed and breakfast, The Rosebud Country Inn. I had the absolute pleasure of going to Palm Springs with some dear friends. I had the chance to play some beautiful music with some beautiful people. I have been cleaning my grandparents house and it's been so delightful because I get to see them. I love cleaning but I love them much more. I love hearing stories about generations above me. Those are just a few highlights.
So today as I start my new year, my heart is filled with absolute joy, peace, gratitude, and love. I'm overwhelmed with happiness as I count my blessings and realize that I'm pretty lucky. Because I have so many dear friends but also because I know where my worth is and that is in The Lord. If that's one thing I can pass on to ya'll, know where your worth is. People are lovely but you can't always please them and vice versa. The world is having trouble now, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that. But if we can keep on the good path and live fully in our calling, I don't see how we can lose. I know it seems forward but I love you all. Its also been 3 months since I've starting blogging. So I feel like we do know each other a bit and it's not out of place to say that. Cause if the world needs anything, it's to hear that four letter word a bit more.
