The Brightest Light

I walked into church (Capstone) and was greeted by the most delightful woman. She was all smiles, excited that I was there, and so lovely. I felt like I had known her for a long time. It was Jessi and that was two years ago (this coming September).

I have know her for a year and a half now. We've been in the same Bible study groups, lead Bible Study, done road trips together, sharing lots of laughs and deep conversations. Jessi's spirit shines out of her face so bright that you can't mistake her for anyone else. She is so full of the Lord and what her purpose is that she makes all the darkness in the room vacate. I love being around her! And it's her birthday today!

Jessi, your presence in my life is so meaningful and I'm grateful for your heart. You understand the world very clearly and what your role is. Your dedication and discipline in your schooling and friendships is inspirational. You make me want to be better. I'm so glad that I walked into church, nervous and a tiny bit fearful of a new place, and met your incredible spirit. The happiest birthday to you today. I hope it's full of nature, the hearts that matter most to you, and most importantly, the Lord. You are so dear to me and without you my world would be a little less bright.
