The First Best Friend
Jody as been my best friend since grade 11. That's 11 years. 11 years of hearing each other out, being on each other's team, and challenging each other in the best way. And it's her birthday today.
Jody is a strong woman. She's raising two beautiful children, running an incredible business (YOU & the littles), and she cares deeply for people. She fights for what is right, loves to laugh, and has such a beautiful spirit. We laugh at each other all the time and not just pitty laughs, we actually laugh out loud. That's my favourite part of our friendship: that we can always find a reason to laugh, even when life is heavy and messy, we laugh together. If it sounds simple it’s because it is that simple.
Jode, you're literally the best. You have been a life saver this year, well, every year. You always listen to me, even when I repeat myself a million times. I love your heart. I'm so proud of everything you do, you work so hard making sure people are taken care of and that they know they matter. I want to be more like you. The Lord has fantastic plans for you and it's been an absolute treat watching you follow His direction. I wish you the most amazing birthday but the most incredible year. I love you to the moon and back and to the moon again. And then back again.
