A Trip To Paris

Paris is the ultimate dream, maybe not of every woman, but certainly of a few. It's full of elegance, culture, and the most lovely pastries! Ah, I could have a croissant right now. Okay, maybe two.

I recently read a book (the one in the photo) called Paris For One and Other Stories by Jojo Moyes. It such a delightful surprise because it was full of short stories of love and some work out and some don't. I appreciated how realistic it was and how it was filled with romantic simplicity.

Now if ya'll don't know, you will now. I'm applying to go back to school for Occupational Therapy. I don't have a set timeline but I'm hoping in five years or so to be an Occupational Therapist. And around the same time my Sister-In-Law, Lydia, will be done her residency to be an OB-GYN. We got talking one day and I mentioned that I had never been to Paris.

She said, "It's really lovely."

And then I thought about it. "Why don't we go to Paris to celebrate being done school ?!"

So we were thinking about a girls trip, Lydia, my Mom, and I.

And then Lydia says to me, "Should it be a girls trip? I mean, the guys won't want to come?"

"I mean, Dad will want to come for sure. Josh could be convinced?"

"Yep."

So this is me telling the world about our dream trip to Paris. It's kind of realistic, right? Enough time to save? A great occasion to celebrate? I think I'm saying it out loud so the possibility of it happening will be higher. I'm sorry, that sounds hopeless. We will go to Paris in 2023! (I'll keep you posted...)

Have you ever taken a trip to celebrate?

Love & Prayers,

Lauren xo
