Priorities

I am 26. I love being busy and working a lot of different jobs. I love seeing as many people as I can. And above all, The Lord is my first love.
The last sentence that I just wrote is true, absolutely, but sometimes the distance is real. And then I think back, "Why do I feel far away"? A moment passes. "Oh. It's because I haven't made Him a priority.
And then I think on it some more. "Oh gosh, I need to rethink my priorities." The thing about blogging is that it can consume my mind. Where can I take the next picture? I'm always on the look out for the most interesting background. Always thinking about what to write, the most captivating caption. But what's really important?

2. Family
3. Friends
4. The Multiple Jobs I Work
I have never been a success driven person. I'm not sure that I will ever be. However, it does matter that I do the best I can. So that means that I need to do the best I can with The Lord, my people, and my work. Sometimes it doesn't happen. But that's going to change. I'm going to do my best to keep my priorities straight.
